A California family is taking their fight to the Chinese government after they say their loved one was tortured and killed inside of a Chinese labor camp nearly 20 years ago, simply for supporting the spiritual meditation practice known as Falun Gong. Now, never before seen undercover video given to FOX 11 is revealing what life is like for political prisoners inside of those Chinese labor camps.
In 1999, the Chinese government ordered the eradication Falun Gong, calling it a “heretical” organization that threatened social stability.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, astonishing accounts of torture inside Chinese labor camps, detention centers, and jails have been reported, but taking photos or video footage inside these places has never been possible, much less smuggling out such material.

A Falun Gong practitioner named Yu Ming changed that.

Yu recorded videos inside both the notorious Masanjia Labor Camp and Benxi Prison, and managed to smuggle the footage out.

In Benxi Prison, Yu used hidden cameras to document the death of one practitioner due to torture, and preserved the written account of another. These are their stories.”

Two new reports shed light on a gruesome practice.

Experts estimate between 60,000 and 100,000 prisoners of conscience are executed annually.

China is forcing up to 90,000 prisoners a year to have organs removed, a shocking new report has claimed.

(CNN)A new report claims that China is still engaged in the widespread and systematic harvesting of organs from prisoners, and says that people whose views conflict with the ruling Chinese Communist Party are being murdered for their organs.

WASHINGTON—Transplant surgeons in China are awash in human organs. Some complain of working 24-hour shifts, performing back-to-back transplant surgeries. Others ensure they’ve got spare organs available, freshly harvested—just in case. Some hospitals can source organs within just hours, while others report transplanting two, three, or four backup organs, when the first fails.

Chinese hospitals are conducting far more organ-transplant operations than the country has officially acknowledged, according to a lengthy new report that raises troubling questions about the source of human body parts used to heal China’s elite and the foreigners who pay high prices to receive new kidneys and livers.

For years, human rights activists have accused the Chinese government of harvesting organs from executed prisoners and selling them to hospitals. In 2009, the government said it was working to stop the practice. But a new report suggests it has persisted.

What we know about the pillaging of vital organs from still-living prisoners in the People’s Republic of China, and the sale of their livers, lungs, hearts and kidneys, is that it is a widespread, outrageous and lucrative business and that the Chinese government habitually lies through its teeth about it.
